It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Shawver of Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Millheim, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver B. Shawver and Elsie N. "Pressler" Shawver; his wife Janet Hosterman; and his sons-in-law, Steven Wertz and Eugene Rimmey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anetta Wertz of Centre Hall, Audrey Rimmey of Aaronsburg and Irene Shawver Watkins (Ralph) of Aaronsburg; his grandchildren, Ruby Wertz Ramos (Hugo) of Las Vegas, NV, Susan Kauffman (Will) of Woodward and Leon Rimmey (Kristine) of Summerfield, NC; and his great grandchildren, Sarah Wertz Ramos of Las Vegas, NV, Allison Kauffman of Woodward, Jackson and Dylan Rimmey of Summerfield, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
