He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don A. Peffer and Janice S. "Ferkan" Peffer of Punxsutawney; his close friend Wes Harbaugh of Aaronsburg; his siblings, Shelley Rowan of Punxsutawney and Gregory Peffer of Strattonville; his brother-in-law Brian Rowan; his nephews, Garrett and Brice Rowan; his niece McKenzie Peffer; and his grandparents, Anna Mae Peffer of Punxsutawney, Andrew, Maxine Ferkan of Dayton and Albert Peffer of Punxsutawney.
