She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn W. Carter and Flora Ellen Westner; her significant other Robert C Akins; her daughter Mavis Jolene Patterson (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jack, Jessica, Megan, Derek, Ashley, Mitchell, Richard Michael Akins, Mercedes and Rachel. She was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren.
