He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter H. Bansen and Anne M. Bansen; his wife Ann Jessen; his children, Peter, Dan, Bob, Lisa, Jon, Kirsten, Josie and Ted; and his brothers, Norman and Stanley Bansen. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
