He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Lane and Tressa Mary Phillips Smith; his former wife Peggy Gust; his children, Craig (Linda) of Wenatchee, WA and Vicki of Renton, WA; his stepsons, Gerald Fisher (Leslie) of Silverton and Sterling Threet (Melanie) of Mesa, AZ; his niece Carrie Weihs (Norm) of British Columbia; his nephew Todd Jacobs of British Columbia; and his stepson David Gordon Fisher of Newcastle, WA. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren, and 11 step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Dorymen's Association scholarship fund, Pacific City, OR or to St. Barnabas Soup Kitchen, McMinnville, OR.
