He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Sowa and Hazel Sowa; his wife Sylvia Hovenden Sowa; his sons, Scott of Riverside, CA and Sean (Sherry) of Tigard; and his grandchildren, Tim and Allison of Riverside.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
