He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drescher and Theresa Drescher; his wife Joan McNabb (Van Dyke) of Mary's Parish; and his siblings, Justine, Dorothy, Lawrence, Hub, John, Ann, Irene, Rita and Ed.
He is survived by: his sisters, Clara Roshak and Margaret Buchheit (Margie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In later years, Fred enjoyed making weekly trips to Spirit Mountain Casino until the Pandemic, and enjoyed spending his days at Monitor Tavern where he filled up on coffee and conversation.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to St Mary's Catholic Church or to the Mt. Angel Knights of Columbus.
