She was predeceased by: her parents, Sixto Vargas and Maria Vargas (late Jesse Leyva); her daughter Donna LeDoux; and her grandchildren, Janette Garza, Jared Rodriguez, Jessika Cavazos and Jeffrey Garza.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Leyva (Ria) of Portland, Jeanne Ruiz (Joaquin), Pattie Leyva, Velma Rodriguez (Jaime) of Woodburn, Nora Esquivel (Louis) and Sandy Villareal (Cesar) of Salem, Oregon.. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Mom took immense pride in her children and equally her precious grandchildren.
