The memory of Dora Vargas Leyva (Woodburn, Oregon), who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sixto Vargas and Maria Vargas (late Jesse Leyva); her daughter Donna LeDoux; and her grandchildren, Janette Garza, Jared Rodriguez, Jessika Cavazos and Jeffrey Garza.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Leyva (Ria) of Portland, Jeanne Ruiz (Joaquin), Pattie Leyva, Velma Rodriguez (Jaime) of Woodburn, Nora Esquivel (Louis) and Sandy Villareal (Cesar) of Salem, Oregon.. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Mom took immense pride in her children and equally her precious grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornwell Colonial Chapel (390 N 2nd St, Woodburn, OR 97071). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Luke Catholic Church (417 Harrison St, Woodburn, OR 97071). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM at the St Luke Catholic Cemetery (417 Harrison St, Woodburn, OR 97071).
