Norma Eileen (Bodtke) Peterson Obituary

Norma Eileen (Bodtke) Peterson was born in Hebron, Nebraska on November 19, 1929, to Leo & Flora Bodtke. She was the youngest of five siblings. At the age of seven, she moved to Hastings, Nebraska to live with her aunts, Gertie, Emma, and Lizzie after her parents’ death. She lived with her aunts until the age of 14 when she moved out on her own to Lebanon, OR. In her early 20’s she met the love of her life, Dale (1996), on a blind date, and were married March 4, 1951. They had three wonderful children together, Chris, Kathy & Suzanne, along with nine grandchildren & many great-grandchildren. She spent her years loving God, life, and people so well. Norma passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 at the age of 91 with family by her side.

A family-only graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery following a family and friends celebration of life at New Hope Church 10603 SE Henderson St, Portland, OR on Monday, August 15th at 3 PM.
