He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Latta and Mae Latta (Reinhart); and his spouse Prudence Smith (Prue). He is survived by: his children, John Latta IV (Diane), Faith Young (Steve) of Hillsboro, OR, Peter Latta of Milwaukie, OR, Laurie Roberts of Aurora, OR and Tom Latta (Angie) of Aurora, OR.; his grandchildren, Sarah Crowther (Drew), Ryan Roberts, Casey Roberts, Oliver and Isabel Latta; and his sister Joanne Latta Reeves.
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Cedar Falls Bible Conference (439 N. Division St., Cedar Falls, IA 50613) where he spent many summers with his grandmother and sister.
