He was predeceased by: his wife Kumiko. He is survived by: his children, Janice, Rick and Nancy; and his grandchildren, Nick, Matt, Mark, Jessica and Jamie.

“Jess Toda Family, So sorry to hear that Jess passed away last week. He was a special friend of the family for many, many years. I know my mom and dad really enjoyed Jess' friendship for the greater part of their lives. I remember Jess for his humor, generosity, and competitive spirit. For many years, we bowled together in the Nisei bowling league. After that, I had the pleasure to golf with Jess on occasion in the Nisei senior golf club. Jess.. You will be missed by many.”
