With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Joseph Schaefer in Willamette, Oregon, who passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Schaefer and Barbara Schaefer of Hoven, SD.; his wife Marie Reding; his sisters, Beatrice Hein and Doris Ann Nordhues; and his sons, Joseph and Francis. He was also cherished by two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers Arthur's family asks that a donation to Meals on Wheels be made in his honor.
