He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal T. Hamm and Lorene Bernice Edwards Hamm; and his sisters, Karen Carter and DeLores Brown. He is survived by: his wife Joan Shaw Hamm; his children, Kelly Pointer, Jaema Brenneman (Kenneth), Serena McDonald (Tom) and Hal Travis Hamm (Tracey); and his sisters, Marjorie Haffner and Loretta Gilbert. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be considered to any local wildlife or natural area.
