He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Azar and Affifi Azar; his half-sister Victoria Obeid; his sisters, Alice Gilmore and Rachael Siri; his wife Lou Anne; his children, Richard Azar (Lona) and Kay Freeman (Doug); his grandchildren, Cody Freeman (Liesl) and Baylie Freeman-Nelson (Zak); his great grandchildren, Lyra and Etta Rose Freeman; and his sister Jean Miller.
He will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in private services due to COVID-19.
