Margaret Christenson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Christenson of West Linn, Oregon, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick Ritter and Margaret Ellen Ritter; her husband Eric R. Christenson, Jr.; her son Eric F. Christenson; her daughter-in-law Nancy; her grandchildren, Eric J. and Hannah; her sister Janet Simpson (Nick Simpson); her nephew Justin; and her daughter Rylee Simpson.

She frequently donated her own paintings and quilts to charities and helped with making hundreds of face masks for anyone who needed one.

Peggy's favorite charities include: Portland Audubon Society, Japanese Garden Foundation and the Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital.
