He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sullivan and Marie Sullivan (Schweiger); his mother-in-law Bernard May; his granddaughter Maddie Kruse; his brothers, Mark Sullivan, Jerald Sullivan and Keith Sullivan; his brothers-in-law, Bill Owen, John May and Tom Wolf; and also Regina May.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sullivan of New Haven; his children, Lisa Cockrum (Keith) of Osage, Terry Sullivan (Becky) of West Linn, Deb Erdmann (Darin) of Las Vegas and Dawn Kruse (Tedd) of Collierville; his grandchildren, Ross Cockrum, Joe Cockrum (Courtney), Marcus Erdmann, Ethan Erdmann, Jack Kruse, Ava Sullivan and John Sullivan; his sisters, Dorothy Owen of Monterey and Mary Clausen of Des Moines; his brothers-in-law, Helen Sullivan, Marilyn Sullivan, Bob May (Audrey), Rita McCoy (Dan), Ann Wolf, Gerard May (Janet), Eddie May (Teresa), Pam Fox (Richard), Mark May (Rose) and Cathy Moellenbeck (Dan); and his cousin Ann Sullivan of Rockford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
