She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Carroll and Ethyl Louise Carroll. She is survived by: her spouse Robert Bruce Henderson; her children, Kane Henderson, Shannon Henderson, Jessica Henderson and Graeme Henderson; and her siblings, Susan Carroll Trenholm, Lynne Carroll Simoneau, Jeffrey Carroll and Jonathan Carroll.

The family has asked that those interested in giving in Alison's name, make donations either to the CurePSP foundation or the Society of Women Engineers scholarship chapter at Al's Alma Mater, Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
