He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward C. Jones and Hazel Edgerton; his stepfather Maurie Martin; his sister Janna Crabb; his wife Lenore; his sons, David (Sarah) and Brian; and his grandchildren, Kennin and Julia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Friends of Timberline to support the US Forest Service Interpretive Program at Timberline Lodge, or to Alzheimer's Disease Research.
