He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Neva Helligso and Gunnar Helligso; his former wife Joann Norgaard; his friends, Jim, Elaine Imlah, Don and Cindy; his wife Edith Thorsnes; his children, Kent Helligso (Colleen) and Kellyann Pinkstaff (Chris); his grandchildren, Lesa Benton, Mike Helligso (Shanti Peterson), Emma Williamson (Chris), Kate Paulson (Chris), Emily Pinkstaff (Chris Brady) and Kelsey Halsen (Matthew); his sister Geraldine Henry; his children, Paul Thorsnes (Libby), John Thorsnes and Ann Thorsnes; his grandchildren, Erik, David, Quinn and Shannon Thorsnes; and his brother Michael John. He was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren.
