It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl Douglas Bergerson of Warrenton, Oregon, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wally Bergerson and Frankie Bergerson; his former wives, Marlene Kelly and Mary Bergerson; his daughter Darrylene Cokley; and his granddaughter Levine Hagen.

He is survived by: his wife Uraiwan Bergerson (Uli); his daughter Londa Sarkie (Paul); his grandchildren, Ronnie Kelly (Brittany), Heidi Floyd (Dillon), Digger Cokley (Staci), Ryan Kelly, Katie Sturgell (Dennis), Jade Svensen (Kris), Marlie Haggren (Matti) and Blake Hagen; his great grandchildren, Colt, Case Kelly, Jaxon, Blaysen Steinhauer, Keeley, Presley, Aspynn, Nash, Indie Cokley, Riley, Ryder, Rayce Sturgell, Emry, Everly, Steele Svensen, Oskar and Hank Haggren; his great great grandchildren, Ella and Jett; his stepchildren, Jill Hagen (Tod) and Denny Moorman; his sister-in-law Kannikar Sanitthai (Ellie); and his brothers, Chuz Bergerson (Charlotte) and David Bergerson (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at Peace First Lutheran Church, 725 33rd St., with a reception to follow at The Loft at the Red Building, 20 Basin St.

Because of Darryl's love of football, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Astoria or Warrenton football programs, where his great-grandsons are currently playing football.
