It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Vern Stermer (Warren, Oregon), who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, August Stermer and Adella Stermer (Koberstein); his siblings, Herman, Edith and Lydia Marie (Mary); his wife Brita Johnson; his children, Steve (Bev) of Springfield, John (Tamra) of St. Helens, Carol St (David), Bruce (Cathy) of Portland and Sandy Hunnicutt (Geoff) of Portland; his grandchildren, Heidi Green of St. Helens, Doug Stermer of Portland, Richard Hunnicutt of Newberg, Willy Hunnicutt of Portland and Margo Stermer of Portland; his stepgrandchildren, Cova Metcalf of Tidewater, Leith St. Onge of Washougal and Chad St. Onge of Scappoose; his nephews, Jerry Stermer of Woodburn and Wes Canaan of Longview; and his daughter-in-law Julianne Stermer of Eugene. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
