He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Prestin Phillips and Bertha Elizabeth Maddox; his sister Bessie Smith of Warren, OR; and his children, Eddie Phillips (Wyoming) and Joyce Ann Billadeau. He is also survived by two grandchildren (Mobil, Alabama), and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
