It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Ann Jones of Vernonia, Oregon, born in Forest Grove, Oregon, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Pelster and Mary Louise Pelster (Unger); her brother Emil Pelster; and her sister-in-law Janice Pelster. She is survived by: her husband Richard Jones; her children, Steve Jones (Melody) of Vernonia, Gretchen Jones of Vernonia, Andrea Jones of Vernonia and Therese Devendorf (Aaron) of Denver, CO.; her siblings, Raymond Pelster of Vernonia, Leo Pelster of Cornelius, Dolores Ashenberner (Sam) of Beaverton, Josephine Pelster of Beaverton, Catherine Maney (Pat) of The Dalles, Cecilia De Clerck (Greg) of Redmond and Agnes Abel of Gaston; her sister-in-law Carol Pelster (late Emil) of Columbia, SC.; her grandchildren, Ashly, Harmony, Bailey, Hannah, Savannah, Nolan, Haley, Taylor, Elijah, Huxley, Heidi, Amelia, Liam, Heather, Finley and Everett; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Iris, Evelyn and Azrael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
