It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion C. Grant (Vernonia, Oregon), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Louis Grant and Bernice Ione Grant (Clinard); and his siblings, Arthur, Fred Grant and Beatrice Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Grant; his children, Judy Clement of Seaside, Oregon, Beverly Grant of Vernonia, Oregon, Doug Grant of Vernonia and Ron Grant of Vernonia, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Torie (Ryan Schenck) and Marissa (Adam McLean); and his great grandchildren, Joey, Jordynn, Joshwa Ellis, Damian McLean, Tyson and Austin Schenck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Vernonia Memorial Cemetery (2080 Bridge St, Vernonia, OR 97064).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to the Mist-Birkenfeld Rural Fire Protection District, 12525 OR-202, Clatskanie, Oregon 97016 or to a charity of one's choice, in his memory.
