He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tews and Alda Tews (Crowell); his wife Carol Czaplewski; and his brother Robert Tews. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Tews (Tressa) of Cambridge, Ohio, Loren Tews (Tina) of Eyota, Minnesota, Sherie Tews, John Tews (Vicky) and Dean Tews of Veneta, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Chad, Rachael, Nicole, Christopher, Randi Jo and Breanna; and his pet Sparky. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (25157 Luther Ln, Veneta, OR 97487).
