We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2020, Ruth Irene Delong of Vale, Oregon, born in Daykin, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Keith, Dale (Nellie) and Wayne Walsh; her great grandchild Brason Seals; and her granddaughter-in-law Kimi Seals.

She is survived by: her husband Dudley DeLong; her children, Deborah DeLong of Ontario, OR, Gary DeLong (Kathy) of Vale, OR, John DeLong of Vale, OR, Susan Seals (Jeff) of Vale, OR, Mary Smith (J. R.) of Richland, WA, Connie Moylan (Kevin) of Meridian, ID, Laura Bates (Geno) of Baker City, OR and Thomas DeLong (Sheri) of Vale, OR; her grandchildren, Charles (Kevin DeLong), Randy (Kat), Ryan (Alisha), Rocky (Beth), Robby (Rachel), Russ (Milissa), Julianna Seals, Ashley Osborne (Sean), Joshua Smith, Bill Dees (Carolyn Lewis), Jessica Tettelbach (Andrew), John Bates, Kylee Peterson (Jacob) and Maycee DeLong; her great grandchildren, Elise, Ellie, Eli, Evan, Everly, Cidney, Caden, Christian, Chloe, Bria, Jenna, Taylor, Bryson, Audrey, Owen, Addi, Devin, Lucy and Emilia; her brother Perry Walsh (Fran) of Great Falls, MT; and her siblings-in-law, Shirlee Walsh of Papillion, NE and Daryl DeLong (Joan) of Vale, OR. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, a private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Vale, OR and interment at Valley View Cemetery, Vale, OR under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel, Vale.
