Mika Hiuga Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mika Hiuga (Vale, Oregon), born in Hood River, Oregon, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sagoro Asai and Matsu Ito Asai; and her husband Harold Hiuga. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hiuga, MD (Elaine) of Sacramento, CA and Arleen Hiuga Musgrove (Richard) of Redmond, WA.; her grandson Thomas Hiuga (Trish); her son Neal of Sacramento; her granddaughters, Kimberlee Hiuga (Cale Klemme) and Kiera Long (Conor) of Bellingham, WA; and her sister Mitzi Loftus of Ashland Oregon. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

After graduating high school Executive Order 9066 brought incarceration to Mika's entire family.
