He was predeceased by: his parents, LT Rucker Rucker and Emma Grindle Rucker; his former wife Irmgard Wiegand Rucker; his wife Sharon Dodson Rucker; and his sisters, Allene Hibberts and Linda Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Rucker (Tammy) and Steve Rucker (Deborah). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Holy Angels, PO Box 710 Belmont, NC 28012, a cause close to Phil's heart.
