The passing of Tomoko Baxter (Umatilla, Oregon) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fusakichi and Fuji; her husband Carl E. Baxter; her son Earl; and her siblings, Sumie, Fusako and Shouji.
She is survived by: her brother Masami Hayashi of Yokohama, Japan; and her children, Karl (Laura) of Hillsboro, OR, Terry (Kathy) of Vancouver, WA, Glen (Gloria) of Lake Elsinore, CA and Penny Anderson (Don) of Kennewick, WA.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (250 W Grant St, Umatilla, OR 97882).
Tomoko was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Kennewick, WA, to which donations may be made.
