Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Murphy and Phyllis Murphy. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Murphy; his wife Becky Murphy of Umatilla, OR; his siblings, Jay Murphy of Elgin, OR and Marilyn Fleshman (Randy) of Scio, OR; his niece Valerie Fleshman; his nephew Kevin Fleshman of Scio, OR; and his stepdaughters, Heidi Haak, Holly Keller and Angela Boddeker. He is also survived by daughter: Amy Murphy, CA; 4 grandchildren, several step grandchildren, aunts uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hermiston Cemetery (1400 US-395, Hermiston, OR 97838).
