She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Robert C. and Bertha Mae "Bea" Heald. She is survived by: her husband Duane Nelson Hinkley; her brothers, Robert C. Heald of Tucson and Col. James Heald; and her sons, James W. Peck of Tacoma, Washington, Robert W. Peck (Mary) of Vancouver, Washington, Michael W. Peck (Regina) of Kennewick, Washington and Col. Daniel W. Peck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oregon Chapter of the National MS Society in her honor.
