It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clay Cable Jones of Ukiah, Oregon, born in Pendleton, Oregon, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Jones and Aura May Cable Jones; his brother Frank Truman Jones; and his daughter Cindy Luanne Dalton (Jones). He is survived by: his wife LaReta Annie Erickson Jones; his children, Kevin Jones of Kennewick, Washington, Vourie Douglas (Jack Harrison) of Ukiah, OR, Kimberly Erickson (Charlie) of Cove, OR and Rachael Baremore of La Grande, OR; his sister Arleta Langley (Fred) of Union, OR; his sister-in-law Judy Jones of Boise, ID; and his son-in-law Jim Dalton of La Grande, OR.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
