It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Rieder of Turner, Oregon, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rieder and Anna Jean Rieder; his son Matthew; his niece Lilly; and his nephew Joe.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his siblings, Charlotte, Clara, John and Karla; his caregivers, Aster and Emily; and also, Jennifer, Heidi, Vance, Justin and Kip. He is also survived by family members and in-laws.

We love flowers, but to honor Jim, he would most appreciate a donation in his name to any organization providing service dogs to veterans.
