He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Joseph; his wife Rosie; and his siblings, Clyde, Anna and Wanda.
He is survived by: his children, Fay Streight, Frances Kaylor, Bobby, Donald and Kenny McClanahan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
