He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Lee" McCalib. He is survived by: his daughters, Jodie McCalib and Shellie "McCalib" Freund (Don); and his stepchildren, Misty Buckalew (Ray) and Troy Shaw. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and a niece.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
