He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Elder and Mildred Elder; his former wife Dorothy; his brother Elden; and his sons, Rusty and Seth.
He is survived by: his cousin Jim Vanderlip; his wife Debby; his siblings, Delvin, David, Nadeane and Ann; his children, Lori, Gary, Steve, Scott, Keith and Tye; and his stepsons, Kenneth, Brandon and Matthew. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
