He was predeceased by: his parents, Alwin Blum and Eva Blum (Phillips); his wife Vera Biggs; his sons, Mark Blum and Larry Blum; and his siblings, Herbert Blum, Raymond Blum, David Blum (Lowell), Eloise Legg and Alma Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Wendell Blum Jr. (Deb) of Yuma, AZ, John Blum (Chris) of Tillamook, OR, Randy Blum (Valerie) of Tigard, OR, Debbie Motsinger (Mike) of Tillamook, Tricia Swope of Tillamook, Barb Blum Schmitz (Mike) of Tillamook and Susan Furlong (Dave) of Thousand Oaks, CA; and his daughters-in-law, Sue Blum (Larry) and Diana Blum (Mark). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren, and 26 step great-grandchildren.
