He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Werner Sr. and Jessie McDonald Werner; his wife Shirley Ford Werner; his children, Thomas Werner Jr. and Tracy Werner; and his brother Charles Werner.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Zirkle (DeWayne), Paula Reeves (Steve) and Mark Hallock; and his siblings, Maybelle Werner, Cleo Mondragon and Richard Werner (Kay). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
