He is survived by: his friend Raymond "Ray" Louis Hiersche; his sister Dolores Heinz; his siblings-in-law, Roy Heinz, Jean Bailey and Joan Trusty; and his daughters, Megan Ross, Katie Walther and Robin Hiersche. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
