With heavy hearts, we announce the death of May DeVries (Tillamook, Oregon), who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart DeVries and Saapke "Visser" DeVries; her stepmother Teta "Vansteinvoorn" DeVries; and her siblings, Sid DeVries and Stella Adams.

She is survived by: her children, Sidney, Stella, May and Ietje; her siblings, Hans DeVries of Tillamook, OR and Ietje Liangis (Greece); and her nieces and nephews, Nonda Zwald Tillamook (Ken), Gary DeVries of Prineville, Nancy Browning (Bob) of Tillamook, Andrew DeVries (Melissa) of Tillamook, Leroy Adams (Jewelie) of Otis and Gerald Adams (Elsie) of Otis.

“May lived a full life and served her family, friends and her community. She worked hard and kept busy. I stopped by my uncle's house and there she was washing Perry's car. She kept care of the people around her and really lived her life. She is a great example of living life fully with great integrity. Thank you Jesus.
