She was predeceased by: her parents, Shouzhen Sheng and Wenrong Xu; and her brother Zhaoqing Xu. She is survived by: her significant other Changzhi Yuan; her daughters, Enlan Yuan (Lian Zou) and Enjing Yuan (Renling Huang); her brother Zhaoli Xu; her granddaughters, Jenny Zou and Jennifer Huang (John Cassady); and her great grandchildren, John Jr. and Jasmine.
