He is survived by: his children, Gwen Carlson Malott, Kristie Carlson-Croce, Mark Carlson and Steven Carlson; his grandchildren, Steven, Spencer Venetta and Chloe Ott; and his pet Fred. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
