It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Bernard Scheckla (Tigard, Oregon), who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Scheckla and Gertrude Ochs Scheckla; his wife Geraldine Lee Stewart of Beaverton; and his children, Janet Petersen (Paul) of Wilsonville, Alex Scheckla of Newberg, Roddy Scheckla of Newberg and Jill Houston (Don) of Wilsonville. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
