He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Emmert and Grace Emmert (Burkholder); and his siblings, Wayne Emmert, Willis Emmert, Margaret Dorsing and Opal Brubaker.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Hershberger; his children, Arlen (Cathy), Scott (Julie), Cheryl Landis (Ed) and Sandra King (Michael); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Kelly), Ben (Amanda), Matthew Landis (Amanda), Brad Landis (Krista), Greg Landis, Christopher King (Katie), Trisha Helfrich (Rob), Courtnee King, Colton (Marissa) and Drew (Courtney); and his siblings, Ethel Yoder and Calvin Emmert. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
