He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Backman and Loretta A. Backman (Jura); and his sister Gail Backman. He is survived by: his significant other Debra E. Warner of Sweet Home; his son Tracy Wade Backman of Sweet Home; his siblings, Gaylyn Shay and Gary Backman of Albany; and his children, Brian Warner of Lebanon, Crystal Warner of Albany, April Wheeler of Albany, Jay B. Keesee of Sweet Home and Erika Keesee of Albany.
