He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey A. Welty and Eva M. Welty (Rowley); his wife Jeannette "Eddi" of Sweet Home; his daughter Vicki; his son-in-law Michael Sele of Sweet Home; his daughter Jonna Jobbitt; and his brother Ivan Welty. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
