Willard Steenhout wrote a sympathy message

“Grew up in little community of Cascadia with JoAnn. Our little school had 6th, 7th and 8th grade together so everyone knew each other and each other's family. Later worked with Tom in the Forest Service so we were together often. Helped Tom & JoAnn move to Ripplebrook. Hard to believe she's gone. Many condolences to you Tom. Sorry we moved so far away that we didn't visit much these last few years. Willard & Shirley Steenhout”
