As Jessie Mae departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jessie Mae may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jessie Mae leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Q. Talley and Kate Talley (Stevenson); and her husband Ernest Reece Joyce. She is survived by: her children, Ken Cheek of Sweet Home and Susan Tindall of Sweet Home; and her sister Melva Dryden of Albany. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
