She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Salvador (Silva) and Antonio Salvador; and her husband Raymond L. Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Morris-Taylor of Prescott, Catherine Maria Peterson of Corvallis, Lloyd Anthony Peterson of Concord and Douglas Gerard Peterson of Reno, Nevada. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
