It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin C. Carr of Sweet Home, Oregon, born in Tonopah, Nevada, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby John and Sarah Helen Carr (Leavitt); his daughter Kimberly Ann Renville; his granddaughter Kathryn Rose Renville; and his siblings, Lillian Glass, Zona Gledhill, Robert W. Carr and Sidney J. Carr.

He is survived by: his wife Venieta Carr (Mehlhoff) of Sweet Home; his children, Keri L. Bates of De Pere, Candace C. Elledge of Tucson, Arizona and Kendall Edwin Carr of Des Moines, Washington; and his siblings, Clara B. Hansen of Mesa, Ruth Kostick of El Dorado, California and David L. Carr of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions can be made in his name to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund.
